FACIAL & BUCCAL MASSAGE

How to Prepare for Your Facial Massage Treatment

To maximise benefits, we recommend arriving without makeup. We use high-quality facial oils to enhance the massage experience. Wear attire that allows for easy shoulder exposure. As some treatments may involve scalp work, plan your hair-wash schedule accordingly. If you have specific areas of concern, please inform us in advance to ensure a seamless and relaxing experience.

What is Buccal Massage and how does it work?

Buccal massage is an advanced facial technique that targets the deeper muscles of the face, especially those around the jaw, mouth, and cheeks, by working both externally and internally. The term “buccal” refers to the buccinator muscle, which sits inside your cheek and plays a key role in facial expression and tension. Unlike traditional facial massage, buccal massage is performed inside the mouth, using gloved hands to gently but precisely manipulate the inner facial muscles. This unique approach allows access to areas that are otherwise hard to reach, providing a deeper level of release and sculpting.

What Are the Benefits?

  • Deep Muscle Release
Perfect for those who clench their jaw, grind their teeth, or suffer from TMJ discomfort. Buccal massage relieves built-up tension in the jaw, cheek, and mouth muscles, offering long-
    lasting relaxation.
  • Natural Lift & Sculpting
By toning and releasing tight muscles from within, the face appears naturally lifted, more defined, and refreshed. Think of it as a workout for your face—with results you can see and feel.
  • Boosted Lymphatic Drainage
It encourages the removal of toxins and fluid buildup, helping to reduce puffiness, improve skin tone, and promote a clearer, brighter complexion.
  • Improved Circulation
Stimulating blood flow to the deeper layers of the skin helps with cell renewal, leaving your skin glowing, plumper, and more youthful.
  • Holistic Stress Relief
Facial tension often mirrors emotional stress. Buccal massage provides not just physical relief
but also helps release emotional blockages, leaving you feeling lighter and more relaxed
    overall.

Who Is It For?

Buccal massage is ideal for:

  • Those with tight jaw muscles, clenching, or TMJ issues
  • Clients looking for a natural lift and sculpted appearance
  • Anyone dealing with facial puffiness or fluid retention
  • People under high stress who carry tension in the face
  • Brides, new mums, or professionals seeking a fresh glow

What it feels like?

It’s deeply relaxing, although it might feel a little unusual at first since part of it happens inside the mouth. Most people feel a huge release of tension and leave with a more defined, refreshed look.
