Dermalux Led

LED light therapy stands as a vital skincare treatment, valued for its flexibility and effectiveness across every skin type—all without any recovery period. The choice of wavelengths is key, as it determines how well the skin absorbs the light energy.

The Dermalux Flex MD employs three of the most rigorously tested wavelengths—blue (415nm), red (633nm), and near-infrared (830nm)—to optimize light absorption in targeted cells, ensuring the best outcomes. Its 360 high-quality LED bulbs deliver even light distribution, covering both the face and body thoroughly.

THE BENEFITS OF EACH WAVELENGTH

THE BENEFITS OF EACH WAVELENGTH

Personalise your sessions to suit your skincare goals with your choice of light combinations.

Blue eliminates blemish-causing bacteria to treat mild to moderate blemishes.

Blue and red treats mild to moderate forms of blemishes while fading scarring.

Red minimises fine lines and wrinkles, heals wounds and keeps skin plump.

Red and near-infrared increases skin elasticity and improves skin texture and smoothness.

Near-infrared reduces inflammation and calms irritation for healthier, stronger skin.

BEFORE AND AFTER – Dermalux®

LED Phototherapy is a clinically proven and safe treatment without discomfort or down time however for optimum results, we recommend that you read and follow the Dermalux® Pre and Post treatment advice outlined below.

Pre-Treatment Recommendations

In preparation for your LED Phototherapy treatment, all makeup and skin care products including sunscreen should be removed to allow absorption of beneficial light into the skin. Please attend your appointment ‘fresh faced’ if possible. If no, we will still do double cleanse, exfoliation if needed and prepare your skin fully.

It is not necessary to remove contact lenses during the LED treatment.

Protective Eye Wear

Visible red and near-infrared wavelengths are safe for your eyes and will not cause harm, even with intentional exposure. However, due to the brightness of the light, we recommend wearing the provided protective goggles for your comfort.

When blue light is used, or if it is included in any treatment combination, it is essential that you wear the client goggles throughout the entire session. Victoria will provide these goggles before your treatment begins.

Post-Treatment Guidance after a Dermalux® LED Phototherapy Session

After your LED Phototherapy session, please apply the recommended skincare products, making sure to include SPF protection during the day.

Victoria will offer personalized advice on whether your current skincare products are suitable during your consultation. If your LED Phototherapy treatment is combined with other aesthetic procedures, be sure to follow the specific aftercare instructions provided.

Makeup can be applied immediately after the session, but we suggest opting for mineral-based or non-comedogenic formulas that allow your skin to breathe.

Also, remember to drink plenty of water to maintain hydration and support your lymphatic system in eliminating toxins.

If you experience any unexpected reactions following your treatment, please contact Victoria within 24 hours for further assistance.

I hope you find this information useful. Feel free to reach out if you have any additional questions.
